City of Franklin Parks Department

The City of Franklin’s Parks Department, located at the Jim Warren Park, is committed to improve, preserve, protect and maintain all of the public parks. The goal of City of Franklin’s Parks Department is to provide a diverse and quality system of parks, recreation facilities, greenways and public open spaces that contributes to and enhances the environmental character of the community.

Parks are an essential component of Franklin’s quality of life. The Parks Department is committed to providing cost effective and efficient facilities, well planned and maintained parks and greenways, and providing quality programs.

The Department also partners with community organizations, schools, local businesses, advisory and policy bodies and other City departments to ensure a thoughtful response to community interests.
